Fantasy football tips: Game Week 15 – Big injuries to avoid

Definitely out

Joe Gomez – Liverpool

Gomez is expected to be out for up to six weeks with the fractured leg he suffered in the midweek win over Burnley.

It’s gutting news for both the player and Liverpool after his brilliant start to the season.

Sergio Aguero – Man City

Chelsea’s task just got a tiny bit easier on Saturday evening with the news that City will definitely be without their top scorer.

Aguero suffered ‘muscular disruption’ in training this week and won’t make the trip to Stamford Bridge, which is big news considering he’s the most selected player on the Dream Team game.

Marko Arnautovic – West Ham

West Ham will be without their talisman is likely to be miss the entire festive period with a hamstring injury.

Arnie has been inspirational again this season but the 8.9% of Dream Team managers with him in their sides will need to take him out.

Rob Holding – Arsenal

Arsenal fear the young defender’s season may be over after suffering knee damage in the 2-2 draw at Man United in midweek.

Holding was just starting to show some really consistent form for the Gunners, so it’s heartbreaking for the 23-year-old.

Doubts

Aaron Ramsey – Arsenal

Ramsey was hooked at half time during Arsenal’s draw at Old Trafford and looked in a lot of pain.

The Welshman appeared to role his ankle while trying to tackle Nemanja Matic and will face further tests on Friday ahead of their clash with Huddersfield.

Sadio Mane – Liverpool

Another player who will rely on a last minute decision to play or not, Mane had a ‘really bad’ cut on his foot after the Merseyside derby last weekend.

He missed the win over Burnley on Wednesday night and Liverpool rate his chances of playing against Bournemouth ‘unlikely’.

Anthony Martial – Man United

United will be hoping and wishing their best player this season pulls through after another knock in that battle at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

Martial faces a late fitness test ahead of their clash with Fulham.
