Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dressed up for another formal joint appearance to attend a gala performance of the play The Wider Earth at London’s Natural History Museum. The Duchess of Sussex looked elegant in awhite Calvin Klein dress and an Amanda Wakeley coat for the event. She wore her hair up in a sleek chignon, and accessorized with a suede olive green clutch and matching pumps.
The duchess also donned dainty stud earrings and a light pink manicure for the event. The mom-to-be, who is reportedly welcoming her and Harry’s first child this spring, was seen sweetly clutching her baby bump when she arrived.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the performance in support of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, which supports young leaders around the world (Harry is also president of the organization), and The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy, Her Majesty’s network of forest conservation initiatives, according to Kensington Palace.
The couple has previously worked with the Queen’s Canopy during their royal tour to Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji last October. Some of their engagements included honoring or launching sites dedicated to the conservation of nature and wildlife.
Today’s gala comes just days after Harry and Meghan’s last formal appearance, which was for the Endeavor Fund Awards honoring ill and injured veterans. The royal couple walked the red carpet for the event, to which Meghan wore a chic button-down shirt and skirt with a thigh-high slit by Givenchy.
The also weren’t the only royals hitting the red carpet this week. Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the BAFTA Awards on Sunday, with the Duchess of Cambridge looking lovely in a white one-shoulder gown by Alexander McQueen.
Kate is slated to make another formal appearance tomorrow for the 100 Women in Finance gala dinner at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, of which she is a royal patron, the Palace announced.
Will we ever get a joint red carpet moment with the entire Fab Four all together? Fingers crossed.
Meghan Markle’s dad is reportedly poised to release more of a bombshell letter she wrote to him after her wedding.
Snippets released from the five-page note showed Meghan, 37, telling Thomas Markle that he had broken her heart “into a million pieces”.
She accused him of lying about her and Prince Harry in press stories, and family members say their relationship is now damaged beyond repair .
Heartbroken Meghan also criticised Thomas for "exploiting" her relationship to the royal in extracts published by the Mail on Sunday .
Now her half-sister Samantha told The Sun that he is prepared to release more of it.
She said: "It is nasty. Dad is prepared to release more of it."
She claims despite not changing her number, her father has not attempted to call her or message her.
The Duchess also slams Mr Markle for siding with her half-sister Samantha, who has attacked her in the press while she "silently" suffers "at the hand of her vicious lies".
Last week People magazine revealed the letter’s existence, and anonymous friends of Meghan’s said they were concerned the "emotional trauma" of dealing with her dad could have a negative effect on her baby.
They said she was so upset by her father’s public "attacks" on her and Prince Harry that she wrote the anguished letter begging him to patch up their differences privately.
In retaliation, Mr Markle released parts of his daughter’s letter publicly, calling it "hateful".
Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Jnr, 52, said: “There’s no trust between them.
"The relationship is broken beyond repair. It’s so sad to see.”
The full extracts from Meghan’s five-page letter released so far
It is with a heavy heart that I write this, not understanding why you have chosen to take this path, turning a blind eye to the pain you’re causing.
Your actions have broken my heart into a million pieces — not simply because you have manufactured such unnecessary and unwarranted pain, but by making the choice to not tell the truth as you are puppeteered in this. Something I will never understand.
You’ve told the press that you called me to say you weren’t coming to the wedding — that didn’t happen because you never called.
You’ve said I never helped you financially and you’ve never asked me for help which is also untrue; you sent me an email last October that said: ‘If I’ve depended too much on you for financial help then I’m sorry but please if you could help me more not as a bargaining chip for my loyalty.’
I have only ever loved, protected, and defended you, offering whatever financial support I could, worrying about your health… and always asking how I could help. So the week of the wedding to hear about you having a heart attack through a tabloid was horrifying. I called and texted… I begged you to accept help — we sent someone to your home… and instead of speaking to me to accept this or any help, you stopped answering your phone and chose to only speak to tabloids.
If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop. Please allow us to live our lives in peace. Please stop lying, please stop creating so much pain, please stop exploiting my relationship with my husband… I realise you are so far down this rabbit hole that you feel (or may feel) there’s no way out, but if you take a moment to pause I think you’ll see that being able to live with a clear conscience is more valuable than any payment in the world.
I pleaded with you to stop reading the tabloids. On a daily basis you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know… you watched me silently suffer at the hand of her vicious lies, I crumbled inside.
We all rallied around to support and protect you from day 1, and this you know. So to hear about the attacks you’ve made at Harry in the press, who was nothing but patient, kind, and understanding with you is perhaps the most painful of all.
For some reason you choose to continue fabricating these stories, manufacturing this fictitious narrative, and entrenching yourself deeper into this web you’ve spun. The only thing that helps me sleep at night is the faith and knowing that a lie can’t live forever.
…I believed you, trusted you, and told you I loved you. The next morning the CCTV footage came out. You haven’t reached out to me since the week of our wedding, and while you claim you have no way of contacting me, my phone number has remained the same. This you know. No texts, no missed calls, no outreach from you — just more global interviews you’re being paid to do to say harmful and hurtful things that are untrue.
Turns out your favorite former bad boi Prince Harry has one thing in common with other new dads: he’s been a ball of anxiety throughout his wife’s pregnancy. And if you want proof, look no further than his body language:
“Harry’s anxiety gestures pretty much began when he met Meghan [Markle], with the odd ‘paperclip’ hand clasp on his jackets suddenly making an appearance along with some intense frowning and more serious facial expressions reflecting the sudden increase in his levels of responsibility,” body language expert Judi James says.
“Harry lost the boyish ‘fun’ facial expressions that always made him look so naughty and adopted a more adult, serious mode as he changed states to husband and then father.”
Judi says that while Meghan shows “unmasked joy and pride” about the pregnancy, “Harry, meanwhile, shows all the signs of being a rather anxious and protective dad-to-be even though his wife isn’t showing public signals of needing or wanting to be fussed over.”
Judi also claims that Harry’s body language shows he’s taken on a “bodyguard” role for Meghan, saying that as she shares her excitement, “Harry often sports a rather worried or concerned-looking frown.”
It’s completely normal for new parents to be anxious about the impending arrival of their baby—and don’t forget that Harry’s also dealing with a giant spotlight and large crowds. Wouldn’t you be stressed?!
Meghan Markle has very nice handwriting. You know how we know that? Because, on Friday, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry made an unannounced visit to the Bristol-based charity One25, an organization aimed at helping women in crisis, including sex work, poverty, homelessness, and addiction. Their tour of the facility brought them to the kitchen, where employees were in the process of assembling packed lunches for women in need—including an apple, a muffin, a Cadbury bar, a packet of crisps, a drink bottle, and a banana. Markle asked for a permanent marker, and proceeded to write “an affirmation” across the length of each banana: “You are strong”; “You are special”; “You are loved.” And, though just a quick scrawl, the words looked pretty good! Even block capitals, a little flourish on the “L” in “loved.”
During her visit, Markle explained the inspiration for her bright yellow missives: “I saw this project that this woman had started somewhere in the States, in a school lunch program,” she said, according to a video taken in the kitchen and posted to the Royal Family Channel Twitter. “On each of the bananas, she wrote an affirmation or something to make the kids feel really, like, empowered, and I thought it was the most incredible idea. It’s such a small gesture,” she went on. (As The Cut pointed out, she’s likely referring to the “talking bananas” that a cafeteria manager distributed at a Virginia Beach elementary school; the gesture went viral late last year.)
One25 was just one stop in a packed day spent touring Bristol for the royal couple: They also made their way to the city’s Old Vic theater—perhaps granting another opportunity to return to her thespian roots—and met children from the Abbeywood preschool, according to royals reporter Omid Scobie. It was not an announced part of their itinerary, but, as the organization’s CEO, Anna Smith, told Scobie, “The women we support are often hidden from society and this visit shines a light on the enormous challenges they face and the incredible strength they have.” The hope, apparently, is that the royal tour will heighten the charity’s profile (and fundraising efforts), allowing them to expand their programming—and, perhaps, expand the reach of their customized bananas.
AceShowbiz -Prince Harry apparently can’t resist himself from drinking. The Duke of Sussex is reportedly spotted sneaking into one of his favorite pubs in London despite drinking ban from his wife Meghan Markle.
According to Us Weekly, the 34-year-old, who is now expecting his first child with Meghan, stopped by The Sands End pub in Fulham, London, on Wednesday, January 30. The site further detailed that Harry was joined by a casually dressed security team in the bar while Meghan is nowhere to be seen. “A casual-dressed security team walked Harry into the bar and surrounded him so he wouldn’t be hassled,” a source tells Radar Online.
It’s said that The Sands End is the royal’s favorite pub as a source adds that it’s owned by his godfather. He previously also brought the former “Suits” actress to the pub when they were dating back in December 2016. “It’s his favorite pub, and his godfather owns it, so Harry goes there a lot,” details the source.
This arrives after Meghan allegedly banned her husband from drinking not only alcohol but also any caffeinated beverages during her pregnancy.
As for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex made her first public appearance at the National Theatre in London earlier on the day. She visited the place as her capacity as patron. Meghan, who is due in April, looked amazing in a nude dress which she teamed with chic cream Aquazurra heels, a cool cream and gold clutch. The royal swept her tresses into her signature bun.
The royal visit began at a workshop with members of the Pericles company, which was the National Theatre’s first Public Acts production in 2018. She also was offered a performance by schoolchildren of a War Horse-inspired production. The kids are part of the National Theatre’s primary school programme.

Eliza Morris, 4, was among the crowds gathered at Hamilton Square during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s visit to Birkenhead on Monday. However, she held an orange sign that made her stand out to the prince.
“#GingersUnite,” it read, along with the message, “I [heart] you Harry.”
Upon seeing the sign, Harry headed over to say hello and instantly bonded with the young fan over their shared trait.
“I love this! Do you love your hair?” Harry said before giving Eliza a big hug. “The sign is amazing!”

Harry, 34, has previously poked fun at his rare hair color. When Harry and then-fiancée Meghan embarked on their first official royal outing as a couple in Dec. 2017, visiting Nottingham for a trip to the National Justice Museum and the Nottingham Contemporary, one cheeky well-wisher asked the prince what it’s like to be with someone like Meghan “as a ginger.”
“It’s great, isn’t it?” Harry said with a smile.
“Unbelievable,” the fan joked back.
“Unbelievable!” Harry responded with a laugh.

For drinks at the couple’s royal wedding in May, one attendee says that friends and family were offered a cocktail at the bar that was named for the newly married couple and included ginger in it as reference to Harry’s famous hair shade.
As a member of Britain’s most famous family, it goes without saying that Prince Harry has probably tried his hand at some very exciting hobbies over the years.
The royals are often photographed horse riding or participating in hunts, but it turns out The Duke of Sussex has recently taken up a new hobby that’s very different from his other ones.
According to reports, the father-to-be has started meditating every day, and people think this new pastime may have been inspired by his wife, Meghan Markle .
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex undertook their first joint engagement of the year on Monday, when they headed to Birkenhead.
While there, People claims Prince Harry chatted with a 69-year-old Buddhist monk named Kelsang Sonam.
Harry is said to have revealed his daily meditation habit to the monk and so Kelsang presented him with a copy of a book called 8 Steps to Happiness.
Meghan, who recently announced she’s six months pregnant, is also known to be a big fan of meditation.
The former Suits actress once posted about it on her now defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig.
On the blog she admitted she had been "daunted" by the prospect of meditation at first and worried she would find it boring.
However she stuck with it and claims it made her much "happier".
She wrote: "Last week marked the one year anniversary of my relationship with meditation, something I found endlessly daunting at first (the thoughts, the distractions, the boredom of it), but soon became the quietude that rocked my world.
"I can’t put my finger on the why or the how, but I will tell you this much, for me…I am just happier. And meditation has so much to do with that."
"I urge you to give it a shot," she added. "The worst thing that can happen is that you gave yourself ten minutes of quiet in an endlessly loud world. Shhhhh……it feels good."
And this might not be the only lifestyle change the duchess has encouraged her husband to make.
It was recently reported that she’d ‘banned’ Harry from drinking alcohol, tea and coffee during her pregnancy.
A source close to the couple claimed that the duke was looking much healthier and chilled after making the changes.
Meghan Markle reportedly has big plans to make her husband, Prince Harry, the hands-on father that she wants him to be with their new little bundle of joy.
According to a Jan. 11 report by Life & Style, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child together later this year, and they’ve been busy preparing for the Royal Baby’s arrival.
The Duchess of Sussex allegedly already knows how she wants her child to be raised, and what kind of father she wants Harry to be to their little one. Markle is said to be expecting her husband to be a very “hands-on” father, which includes him getting up in the middle of the night to attend to the child, changing diapers, and cleaning up.
Recently, when Harry was reminded of what hard work it is to be a parent, and if he was up for the challenge, the Duke replied, “Oh, I know. I’m ready.”
The outlet goes on to say that kids love Harry and seem to flock to him at all of the the royal outings. He has a bit of practice being around small children as he is the uncle to his brother Prince William’s thee kids, Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and baby Prince Louis, eight months.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Meghan Markle is said to be having a hard time adjusting to life in the royal family. The Duchess is apparently not happy to have her voice stifled by royal rules, regulations and standards, and may be finding herself in some very difficult situations.
Us Weekly reveals that Markle is finding it very hard to juggle all of her royal duties, as well as her pregnancy, and is beginning to feel overwhelmed and unhappy. Meanwhile, Harry is said to be upset, and feels responsible for his wife’s unease.
“Meghan has so much on her plate, between being pregnant and dealing with the public backlash and she’s finding the whole situation incredibly stressful,” an insider revealed.
“[Prince Harry is] very frustrated with how little can be done. Keeping [Meghan] away from the negativity and harm has been hard for him. It’s been his purpose in their relationship to keep her away from the negativity,” the source continued, adding that being a member of the royal family isn’t nearly as “glamorous” as it appears to be.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to become parents to their new little bundle of joy sometime this spring.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are slated to move out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor this year, but the couple also has a private country home in the Cotswolds. Although the property has been kept fairly under wraps, British outlet The Sun published the first photos of the home.
Royal correspondent Emily Andrews reports that the elegant farmhouse is worth £2.5 million (about $3.2 million). The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are renting it on a two-year lease and moved in before they got married last May. They’ll reportedly keep the place as they move to Windsor this year. Andrews writes that the duo consider the Cotswold pad as “more of a home” than their current residence, Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace.
The idyllic property—with a farmhouse dating back to the 18th century and an attached converted barn—boasts four bedrooms (with one converted into a dressing room), an upper kitchen and lower kitchen, a sitting room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a large dining room, and ample outdoor seating, Andrews reports.
The Sussexes have already hosted some special guests at the residence, including George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, Andrews adds.
“Meghan adores the area. She and Harry love walking the dogs there, and they can entertain their friends in complete solitude,” a “friend” of the couple told the royal reporter. A source also told People back in September that the duchess “spends most of her weekends” there.
The super private residence is perfect for the future parents, who are seeking some seclusion as they start a family. (Their first child together is due this spring.) It was previously reported that Harry “wants to escape the goldfish bowl of royal life for the sake of his marriage and his unborn child,” according to royal correspondent Rebecca English of The Daily Mail.
It is likely no surprise to royal fans to hear rumors that Meghan Markle is finding her situation “incredibly stressful,” detailed Elle. It would be stressful enough to join a new family and move to a new country, but she did all that while being under close watch by royal fans worldwide. Plus, the family circus appears to have no end, with dad Thomas continuing to give very personal interviews. Meanwhile, half-sister Samantha is preparing to drop her tell-all book, and half-brother Thomas Jr is making a show of inviting the Duchess to his wedding.
“Meghan has so much on her plate, between being pregnant and dealing with the public backlash, and she’s finding the whole situation incredibly stressful.”
Moreover, Elle added that “One source told Us Weekly—particularly dramatically—that ‘Harry feels responsible for Meghan being so miserable.’” The publication then goes on to speculate on what’s making Meghan miserable, guessing it might have to do with media backlash or her inability to speak out to defend herself.
These reports aren’t going over well with Markle fans. For example, Elite Dailysarcastically asked, “Well congratulations, haters. You did it. You made Meghan Markle feel crappy. Happy now?”
And among all of the drama, it’s worth noting that the Duchess is pregnant for the first time, which ought to be a stressful-enough situation on its own.
This isn’t the first reports of Harry feeling upset over the drama surrounding his wife. Previously, Us Magazine revealed that he “feels powerless” over the media backlash.
“It has put pressure on her relationship with Harry. He’s very frustrated with how little can be done. Keeping her away from the negativity and harm has been hard for him. It’s been his purpose in their relationship to keep her away from the negativity.”
It certainly sounds like Harry wants to be the protector of Meghan, which is a natural instinct for him as a loving husband. So while Harry can’t control the media, hopefully the couple has found ways to cope with any negativity being thrown on them in a constructive way.
Perhaps they can focus on the upcoming birth of their first child. Considering the outpouring of love and congratulatory messages following the announcement of Meghan’s pregnancy, it wouldn’t be surprising if the birth of the baby introduces a new positive wave of coverage for the royal couple. So far, people have been busy betting on the baby’s name, while there’s a reportedly high number of people who speculate the couple are going to be welcoming twins.
