Rochelle Humes bursts in to tears watching video of children with Down Syndrome signing to Christmas track

The Wouldn’t Change a Thing children were back in the studio to discuss their Christmas offering as as they continue to change perceptions of Down syndrome.

This Morning launched the music video today – a cover of All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The families and children saw it for the first time and were surprised to see it featured Michael Buble and even Rochelle and Phillip.

Introducing the video, Michael said: “Hi everyone, it’s Michael Buble. When I heard that Wouldn’t Change A Thing had chosen one of my songs to sign to I was really moved by it.

“It’s absolutely beautiful, check this out.”

After watching it, Rochelle was left in floods of tears after coming overcome with emotion.


She told the families: “I am so sorry. It is just so special. I am just so happy for you.”

Those watching at home were also very moved by it and took to Twitter to discuss it.

One person wrote: “This’ll make you cry happy tears when you watch it. Such a beautiful video of such beautiful children and their fabulous parents. Stunning. #tearsofjoy #ThisMorning.”


Another added: “Watching @thismorning in tears at the beautiful video of the little kiddies and their parents singing All I Want for Christmas with @michaelbuble …well done everyone, magical stuff. #thismorning #DownSyndrome #AllIWantForChristmasIsYou #happytears.”

As someone else wrote:  “I’ve got a huge lump in my throat & tears in my eyes watching that video. Those kids are beautiful! #ThisMorning.”

The children previously appeared in the studio to recreate their viral A Thousand Years video.

They hit headlines and won praise from James Corden after making a Carpool Karaoke style video.
