Pet dog also perished in Harlem fire that killed mom and 5 kids

The Harlem apartment fire that killed a mom and her five kids also claimed the family’s dog, relatives and sources say.

The pet — a 2-year-old Yorkie named Penny — was found dead in one of the Frederick Samuel Houses unit’s bedrooms after Wednesday’s blaze, according to a NYCHA maintenance worker helping with the building’s restoration.

The dog’s body was still in a trash bag inside the apartment as of Thursday evening, the worker added.

Mom Andrea Pollidore, 45, her kids Elijah Pollidore, 3, Brook-Lynn Pollidore, 6, Andre Pollidore, 8, Nakyra Pollidore, 11, and stepson, Mac Abdularaulph, 33, all perished in the fire.

They were unable to escape and were found inside two of the apartment’s three bedrooms.

The blaze is believed to have started after the mother fell asleep while something was cooking on the gas stove, sources have told The Post.
