A Place in the Sun: Danni Menzies advises homebuyer on pool
Danni Menzies, 33, has relocated back to rural Scotland where her parents own a huge piece of land that they have converted into a luxury five-star holiday resort called Mains of Taymouth. The A Place In The Sun presenter had previously relocated to London for work, but is now enjoying the spoils of Perthshire countryside as the UK remains in lockdown.
On her social media, Danni shared photos of Scotland’s recently snowstorm as she enjoyed the chilly weather with a walk alongside her parents.
The property host typed on Instagram in view of her 64,800 followers: “Such a beautiful day today, the kind that makes you forget everything else and just be happy to be alive.
“This is the longest I’ve spent at home since I was 15.
“Living with my rents at 33 is something I never thought I’d say, however, I’m very happy to be here right now.” (sic)

Underneath fans praised the star and her family, as they gushed over the sweet snaps.
One said: “Looks like you’re having a great time, and you’re looking well for the family time.”
Another wrote: “Lovely mum and dad.”
While another added: “Of all the places in all the world I want Mains [Of Taymouth] to be the first place I go for a break after lockdown, love it so much.”
Danni discussed her career future with Express.co.uk, as she debated “trying new things” after working on A Place In The Sun for almost five years.
The property expert is now thinking about “what the future holds” and has “dreamt” about opening her own animal rescue centre.
Danni shared: “Well I have been on the show for four or five years now and I’m starting to think about new challenges.
“Not sure exactly what I’m going to do, or what the future holds… but I’m definitely starting to think about trying new things.

“I’ve always dreamt of creating some sort of animal rescue show.
“I’m big into animals and I’m trying to rescue an ostrich at the moment,” she added.
Danni first discovered her passion for rescuing animals after an accident at University left her with agoraphobia.
Staying at home in her family’s Perthshire estate, she decided to force herself to go outside and work with horses.
Over a period of months, Danni devoted herself entirely to the recovery and training of the rescued animals.
She also became transformed, changing from a social recluse, to a model, TV presenter and campaigner.
A Place In The Sun celebrated its 21st birthday last year, with Danni joining the programme back in 2016 following a successful career in broadcasting.
A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
