Husband and wife duo Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson have a new movie in the works!
The 54-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey director will be directing the upcoming movie Rothko, which the 30-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor will be appearing in, Deadline reports.
Here’s the synopsis: “Adapted from the book The Legacy Of Mark Rothko by Lee Seldes, the screenplay by Lara Wood focuses on the true story of the ‘Rothko case’, the protracted legal dispute between Kate Rothko and the painter’s estate executors and the directors of his gallery, Marlborough Fine Art. The revelations in the case of greed, abuses of power and conspiracy in the art world shocked many.”
Rising actress Aisling Franciosi will be playing Kate, while Russell Crowe will be playing her dad Mark.
Aaron, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Jared Harris will all also be appearing in the movie in undisclosed roles.
This will be the third movie Aaron and Sam have worked on together. They first met on set of the 2009 movie Nowhere Boy then worked together on 2018′s A Million Little Pieces.
Aaron recently started production on this star-studded, highly-anticipated action flick!
