Angellica Bell, 45, has shared that she won’t be joining her close friend Charlene White on the Loose Women panel any time soon. The One Show host said the ladies on the chat show are “sorted there” after presenters Saira Khan and Andrea McLean stepped down earlier this year.

Opening up on the potential for her to be on the show, Angellica insisted it is not in her future plans.

She said: “Oh no, they are sorted there, they have enough people there!”

The current Loose Women panel includes Charlene, Kaye Adams, Ruth Langsford, and Coleen Nolan.

Katie Piper has just joined as the newest member of the team and there’s also Christine Lampard, who has just given birth to her second child.

Then there are also long-term Loose Women panellists like Nadia Sawalha, Stacey Solomon, Linda Robson and Janet Street-Porter.

Other stars include: Brenda Edwards, Jane Moore, Gloria Hunniford, Denise Welch and finally Carol McGiffin, Kelle Bryan, Judi Love, Penny Lancaster and Frankie Bridge.

Although Angellica won’t be appearing on the daytime show anytime soon, she will be making more regular appearances on The One Show as her good friend Alex Jones takes maternity leave to be with her baby daughter.

Angellica shared: “I’m going to be doing some cover for Alex soon. I love it. I’ve been in there since the start.

“Which is amazing. I can’t believe it. It’s nice to pop in and sit on the green sofa.”

The former CBBC host has also partnered up with Churchill who is launching Little Chapters of Chill – Part Two.

Little Chapters of Chill is Churchill’s latest series of children’s audiobooks with mindfulness at the heart of every story.

Written by author Sue Pickford and brought to life by Angellica, each story aims to keep kids entertained and relaxed as they return to school.

Speaking on being approached for the project, The One Show host said: “I was surprised because I think the message is really important, children are stressed and they’ve been through a turbulent time last year.

“As adults, we are very aware of mindfulness, but if we teach children, how to sort of relax, how to deal with stress, from a young age, you’ll only start in a good state.

“So it was amazing. I also think audiobooks are a great medium, to allow children to use their imaginations, to set themselves free

“So I just think it’s a really good thing what Churchill is doing,” she added.

Angellica is married to former CBBC presenter Michael Underwood and they are parents to two children.

The 45-year-old admitted her husband is a big fan of her podcast appearance, as he was “very happy” with it.

She shared: “I have only done two and there’s five of them. Michael has listened to mine, and he’s very happy with it. “

Angellica Bell has partnered with Churchill alongside Giovanna Fletcher and Emma Willis to launch the second series of Churchill’s Little Chapters of Chill children’s audiobooks. The five new episodes in the audiobook series follow the brand’s canine mascot, Churchie, on nature-based adventures designed to reconnect children with the outside world and include simple mindfulness techniques.

Little Chapters of Chill – Part 2 are available at, and all major streaming platforms now. #LittleChaptersOfChill.
