Ashley Cain has shared a video of him kneeling down and praying to his late baby daughter Azaylia by the sea.
The poignant clip saw the former footballer, 30, clasping his hands together with his head down as he leaned on one knee.
Opting to go topless, his trousers got wet as the long pier into the water was covered by the rising tide.
In the incredibly personal moment, Ashley then leant up and raised his head to look at the sky.
The sportsman, who appeared empowered, finished his prayer by blowing a kiss up to his lost little girl.
The star coupled his video with an even more inspirational caption, as he wrote: “You’re going through so much pain, You’re going through so much agony. You’re ready to give up, You’re ready to quit.
“I got 1 word for you… WARRIOR! WARRIOR! Listen to me very carefully, YOU ARE A WARRIOR and it’s time for you to FIGHT!” Ashley continued to his 1.9million followers.
“This was an amazing moment after such a difficult few days,” the athlete went on, explaining that the decision to pause and speak to Azaylia arose after running 10 miles along the coast and swimming in the cold sea.
He then explained: “I stayed in the water for a period of time after everyone else got out because I felt something euphoric.

“I then climbed out of the water and I spoke with my daughter and prayed in such a peaceful but powerful moment I can’t explain."
Ashley added: “I couldn’t ever have planned for that moment, but I made sure I embraced every second of it.”
Safiyya Vorajee, who is the mother of baby Azaylia, encouraged her partner in a truly heart-wrenching post in the comments.
“This made me cry,” she told him. “Your pain as you kneel down to pray for our baby is nothing but powerful, the agony & heartbreak we experience on a daily basis is nothing but devastating & painful.

Ashley and Safiyya did all they could to try and get the little one treatment but their little girl passed away in April.
The parents informed their followers that they would donate the funds raised for Azaylia’s treatment to a charity set up in her name.
