Emmerdale cast favourite Charley Webb, 33, has taken to Instagram to admit she is “in agony” after injuring her shoulder. The Debbie Dingle actress filmed herself resting in bed while attempting to ease her pain with a hot water bottle.

The mum-of-three explained to her 510,000 followers that her two eldest children Buster, 11, and Bowie, five, were staying with friends and relatives for the evening, while she stayed at home with her husband Matthew Wolfenden, 41, and their youngest child, two-year-old Ace.

Charley said in a video: “I’ve got one child at home. One.

“So Buster’s at his Nana and Grandpa’s, Bowie’s at Emma and Albert’s, Ace is here and I’m in bed eating cheese, oat biscuits, and watching Love Island.”

The soap star explained that although she was having “the best time” watching the ITV2 reality show, she was also struggling with a painful health issue.

Charley revealed she was forced to book a last minute appointment with her chiropractor, as she was suffering due to her injury.

The small-screen star told fans: “I mean, basically the best time, except I have done my shoulder in.

“So I’ve got a hot water bottle on it.

“I had to get a last minute chiropractor appointment tonight at 8 o’clock because I am in agony,” she sighed.

Charley then called on her husband Matthew to bring her some snacks while she recovered in bed.

However, the Emmerdale actor was less than impressed when his wife complained as he had forgotten to bring her a biscuit.

Charley wrote on Instagram: “I made him bring me a tea and he didn’t bring a biscuit.

“This was his reaction @matthewwolfenden55.”

The star then filmed Matthew giving her the middle finger as he went back to the kitchen.

“Less than a minute later. They arrived. @matthewwolfenden55,” Charley revealed, as Matthew threw a packet of biscuits in her direction.

Showing off their banter as a couple, Charley teased Matthew by saying: “Matthew come here!”

“What?” The David Metcalfe actor replied.

“I need you!” Charley exclaimed, before chuckling and asking her other half, “Are you under the thumb?”

Matthew promptly stormed out of their bedroom due to his wife’s cheeky antics.

Charley previously struggled with another health issue back in June, as she was unable to get out of bed all day due to a nasty sickness bug.

The actress revealed she had to call a friend at the time to help take care of her youngest child while she recovered from the illness.

She told fans: “I’ve been in bed since last night with a sickness bug. Oh my word, one of the worst I’ve had.”
