The former footballer was among those wishing the Prince many happy returns, as he shared an old photograph of the pair together at the 2018 World Cup Bid.

Taking to his Instagram story, David penned a sweet but simple message to honour his friend on his big day.

“Happy birthday Prince Harry,” he wrote alongside the snap.

Recently, the Beckhams caused a major stir on social media, after Victoria Beckham posted a revealing photo of her husband.

It comes after the Manchester United legend made an appearance in this year’s Soccer Aid, which took place earlier this month.

Taking to the picture-sharing site, the 47-year-old posted a snap of her beau floating in a pool while basking in the sun.

Victoria confessed the husband and wife duo had a candid photoshoot as she delighted her fans.

David could be seen with his head laid on the side of the pool with his lower body immersed in the water.

Flashing his tattoos, the football legend wore his swimming trunks giving an eyeful of his rear.

The swimming trunks were etched halfway down as he flashed his bottom to the camera.

In view of her 29.1 million followers, Victoria captioned the post: “Happy Sunday, you’re welcome.”

She confirmed the photo was taken by herself and added a sunshine emoji.

Fans swiftly inundated the comment section, as the cheeky bottom pic received over 100,000 likes in a matter of minutes.

Social media users joked that Victoria was trying to “break the internet” with the candid shot.

One wrote: “How to break Instagram,” while another quipped: “Agent Victoria Provacateur.”

A third remarked: “Happy Sunday indeed! Thanks for sharing.”

“Thank you so much madame,” another gushed.

A fifth commented: “Haha cheeky… literally!”

“Love this. You lucky, lucky lady,” a sixth wrote, while another chimed: “Well thank you @victoriabeckham. You’ve most definitely brightened up my Sunday morning.”

David’s bottom has sparked a social media meltdown as it appeared Victoria is looking to break the social media record.
