Filming Of New Seasons Of Donald Glover’s ‘Atlanta’ Delayed Until 2021

Filming of the third season of Donald Glover‘s “Atlanta” has been delayed until 2021.

Production of “Atlanta,” the FX comedy starring Glover aka Childish Gambino and Brian Tyree Henry, will begin in the first half of 2021, according to FX Networks Chairman John Landgraf. The production was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Glover and the other writers of the show have completed the scripts for seasons three and four. The production team plans to shoot two seasons back to back. One season is to be shot primarily in Europe and the other in Atlanta.

The third season is expected to premiere later next year, though a specific release date was not provided.
