Jaime Pressly has been making television fans everywhere belly laugh until they can’t breathe ever since she rose to fame on the wickedly funny 2000s sitcom “My Name Is Earl” (via IMDb). The actress appeared in an impressive amount of productions before her big Hollywood breakout, though, including “Push,” “Jack and Jill,” “Joe Dirt,” “Entourage,” “Not Another Teen Movie,” “Happy Family,” and more.
Pressly’s kept busy over the past decade, with roles on “Raising Hope,” “I Hate My Teenage Daughter,” and “Jennifer Falls” pushing her career along. Since 2014, she’s starred on the long-running CBS sitcom, “Mom,” opposite Allison Janney and Anna Faris, who left the show in September 2020, just days before Season 8 production was set to start filming (via Decider).
“We all have such a great relationship and we’re all happy for each other no matter what,” Pressly said on an episode of the “Watch With Us” podcast of Faris’ unexpected exit (via Us Weekly). “At the end of the day, we just want everybody to be happy, and we support and love each other. You know, whatever that means that makes you happy. We want you to do that and we support her 100 percent.”
Jaime Pressly's net worth is less than you think
Despite having steady work as an actress since the late ’90s, Celebrity Net Worth reports that Jaime Pressly’s net worth is only around $7 million. While you might expect her net worth to be higher, that’s still a lot more money than many actors will make during their career. The outlet also reports that Pressly makes around $75,000 per episode of “Mom,” which is nothing to sneeze at — especially considering that she’s appeared in over 100 episodes of the wildly popular sitcom.
Pressly’s fortune hasn’t protected her from financial woes, though. Per The Real Deal, her multi-million dollar home in Sherman Oaks, California, was foreclosed by the bank in 2016 after Pressly failed to make her mortgage payments. The foreclosure came after the “My Name Is Earl” actress filed a $900,000 lawsuit against her former accountant, Daniel Rivero, after alleging that he royally screwed up her finances. Pressly claimed that she owed $850,000 in back taxes and lost nearly $200,000 because of Rivero’s bad investments (via TMZ).
