Jennifer Lopez has been spotted with former flame, Hollywood star Ben Affleck however they’re strictly friends, a pal of J-Lo’s has confirmed.
J-Lo, 51, recently split from her ex ballplayer fiancé Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez and they put out a joint statement to confirmed the end of their relationship.
On Friday, it was then reported that Ben, 48, and J-Lo had been hanging out but a source has confirmed to People that, despite spending time together, they’re “just friends.”
"They have always been friends and they have seen each other through the years,” the source told the publication.
Amid reports J-Lo and Ben have been spending time together, an insider told Page Six: “Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house.”
Yet the Insider has said of Ben and Jennifer: “They are friends … they’ve never not been.”
Ben and JLo, who became known as Bennifer, got engaged in November 2002 and they delayed their 2003 wedding before calling off their relationship at the start of 2004.
Ben recently split from his girlfriend Ana de Armas, and J-Lo is recently single too following her break up from A-Rod.
Jennifer and Alex, 45, first got together back in 2017 but have decided to remain friends after attempting to work through past issues.
They said: “We have realised we are better as friends and are looking forward to remaining so.
“We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children.

“Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words of support.”
The news comes weeks after reports that the pair were “on the rocks”, just two years after the baseball player got down on one knee and asked the all important question.
The former Yankees star arranged the engagement around a romantic trip to the Bahamas on the beach with a ring costing the baseball player up to $1 million.
However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the singer-songwriter was walking around without her ring as early as March, fuelling rumours of a break-up.
The couple were forced to postpone their wedding twice in the last year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
An insider told Page Six that the pair struggled to make time for each other and their break-up was "a long time coming.".
