Little Mix appear to shut down rumours they’re set to split: ‘There’s no signs of slowing down’

Little Mix appear to have dispelled rumours that they will be splitting up with a statement on their website that says they are showing "no signs of slowing down."

The group – who lost member Jesy Nelson in 2020 – are gearing up to release their latest album, Between Us.

As part of the promotion, the remaining girls – Leigh-Anne Pinnock,Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall – have created a special website that celebrates their time in the band since winning the X Factor in 2011.

Within the section which talks about their latest release, the girls appear to shut down any rumours of a split.

The section reads that the girls are showing "no signs of slowing down."

The full statement reads: "After 10 years of being together Little Mix are known trailblazers for girl groups globally, leaving their mark on pop culture history.

Celebrating 10 years with no signs of slowing down, Little Mix give the world what they know best… their seventh studio album 'Between Us'."

Earlier this month, it was reported that the band had plans to announce they would be going their separate ways.

The Sun reported the claims, with a source telling the publication: "There has been a lot of speculation about the future of Little Mix, but it is now very clear that the end of the road has been reached."

The publication adds that the girl group will make the shocking split announcement in mid-November.

The source added: "A date is set to announce the split. The upcoming tour is going to be a farewell to their fans."

The girls are set to head out on tour in 2022, with Perrie and Leigh-Ann confirming at the Brits that the planned tour would go ahead despite both of their pregnancies.

In August, Perrie gave birth to a little boy named Axel, while Leigh-Ann gave birth to twins. Leigh-Ann has yet to confirm the names or genders of her babies.

In recent weeks, the group has made headlines for comments Leigh-Ann reportedly made on social media about their former member, Jesy Nelson.

Following screenshots which appeared to show Leigh-Ann accuse Jesy of "Blackfishing," Jesy took to Instagram live to defend her latest single alongside Nicki Minaj.
