Madonna, 63, took to the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards last night to mark the show’s 40th anniversary. True to form, the American singer’s brief appearance got everyone talking.
Madonna arrived on stage in a trench coat and black hat, before removing her jacket to reveal a head-turning look underneath.
She put on a busty display in a leather puff-sleeved bodysuit and heels.
The songstress walked on stage to her famous hit song Vogue and opened the show.
Fingerless gloves completed her look, however, it was when the music icon turned around to walk away that her bottom stole the show.
Many have shared their thoughts on her cheeky display, including ITV’s Lorraine Kelly, who thought it looked like she was wearing a “false bottom”.
Following her surprise appearance, Madonna took to social media to share some behind-the-scenes snaps with her 16.5 million followers.
“And they said I wouldn’t last… #vmas2021,” she captioned a series of saucy snaps.
“Queen of MTV,” one follower remarked.
“Not bad for 63,” another added.
A third social media user said: “Good god she is beautiful but how much plastic surgery has she had?”
“They’re pads, right?” a fourth person asked, referring to her curvaceous bottom.
“No I believe they’re buttock implants,” another user claimed.

TV presenter Lorraine was also a bit baffled by the star’s stage appearance.
Following a clip of the VMAs, which was shown during this morning’s Lorraine, the host said: “What? What was that?
“Now you won’t know this but there was a show years and years ago and Kenny Everett used to wear a false bottom when he was pretending to be Rod Stewart.
“That’s not a real bottom. Is that a real bottom?” she went on to ask her showbiz reporter.
“Listen, they can do a lot of things these days so maybe, maybe not. Maybe she’s been hitting the gym, doing squats. Maybe she found a great doctor.
“Either way I applaud her because she looks fantastic,” he said.
“She looks amazing. The woman is extraordinary… it’s just that side view looks a bit strange,” Lorraine added.
