Naga Munchetty regularly shares her workout routines and documents the details on social media. The BBC Breakfast host has now provided an update on her health as she addressed a painful injury.
The 46-year-old revealed she has been suffering from Achilles Tendonitis.
The broadcaster explained that despite her struggles she has slowly been making a recovery, as she shared her latest purchase.
In view of her 44,700 Instagram followers, Naga admitted she had really “missed” being able to run.
She penned: “Haven’t been able to run for weeks. Have really missed it, but because of injury have been sensible. #achillestendonitis.
“At last, I found a machine that means I can control speed when it’s too hot to run outside (for me). My head feels so refreshed! Have a fabulous day.”
Naga accompanied the post with a picture of her new indoor running machine, which she has used to slowly get back into training.
In addition, she added a selfie shot where the presenter could be seen sweating profusely.
Fans swiftly inundated the comment section, as one wrote: “Oh the Achilles tendonitis. So painful, I have it also.”
Another penned: “Glad to know you’ve been sensible and rested. You’ll recover stronger because of it.”
A third advised: “Plenty of stretching before and after Naga!”
“Glad to have you back running,” another penned.

In April, Naga admitted she got carried away while running on the treadmill and ended up “hobbling” out of the gym.
The BBC Breakfast presenter opened up on the situation while chatting to her listeners on BBC Radio 5 Live.
She divulged: “My lesson learned, I went to the gym yesterday and I pushed it.
“I really pushed it, and I was so excited being back and I ran just a little bit too far.
“And I’m now hobbling today because I pulled my Achilles tendon, I think.”
Naga went on to brand herself a “fool” for the injury, as she knew she was overdoing it but didn’t stop herself.
The star added: “It’s really sore and I knew it was going and I just thought, ‘I’m just going to hit this marker’.
“Fool that I am! Anyway, lesson learnt.”
