Simon Cowell has been photographed displaying his weight loss while on a chilly walk in London.

The 61 year old, who was recently slammed by Paddy McGuinness after he admitted to having "never changed a nappy", wrapped up warm for the winter stroll with a female friend on Thursday, 11 February.

The Britain's Got Talent judge donned a black padded coat with a grey scarf around his neck, which he teamed with a pair of blue jeans and black boots.

Taking no chances amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the star wore a black mask on his face. He completed the ensemble with some simple black gloves, ensuring he keeps warm in the crisp air, and dark sunglasses.

The outfit clearly demonstrated his recent weight loss of 60 pounds, which he partially achieved by giving up meat and dairy in 2019.

However, he recently took a break from his strict vegan diet to gain some weight following his horrific electric bike accident in Malibu, which broke his back in three places.

Simon, who recently showed off the huge scar on his back from the ordeal, needed six hours of emergency surgery and had a rod inserted into his back.

The terrifying event, however, made Simon re-think his lifestyle and realise he wants to live a long life for his partner Lauren Silverman, 43, and their six year old son Eric.

A source exclusively told OK! Online: "The accident just made him change his lifestyle. It made him think he wants to live longer for Eric. It’s made him re-evaluate everything."

They added: "He really appreciates his life, with Eric and Lauren."

It comes as the TV presenter recently recorded his first video since the dreadful accident that nearly left him paralysed.

The X Factor judge pledged a money can't buy prize for anyone who donated to the charity that is "close to his heart".

The animal lover looked relaxed and in good health as he sat on his outdoor sofas at his home to make the appeal. He wore a signature grey T-shirt with blue jeans as he spoke to the camera.

"I'm asking you all tonight to help a really, really important charity which is close to my heart, the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, which was introduced to me by my good friend, Leona Lewis.

"If you donate tonight, anything you do donate will actually make a difference, and you get a chance to join me, with your friends, at the BGT finals and meet me and the rest of the judges." He then encouraged his fans to download the Wishio app to donate.
