Willow, a Golden Retriever, is filmed sitting in front of the TV watching the equestrian sport unfold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The young pup quickly picks up the dancing technique by lifting her paw up to the screen, just like how the horses do in the popular sporting event.

The video was uploaded to TikTok video, gaining more than 200,000 views in less than 24 hours – but it wasn’t just Willow who appeared to adore the Olympics.

One user said: “Is this a Golden thing? It’s the only event mine has taken any interest in.”

Another said: “My lurcher Daisy is terrified of horses but loves all of the events in the Olympics that involve a ball.”

A third commented: “Our dog did the exact same thing. I was so surprised!”

Team GB have been successful throughout the equestrian events at this years Summer Olympics, taking gold in the team eventing and silver in the individuals.

Rider Charlotte Durjardin took home two bronze medals in the team and individual dressages, making her the most decorated British female Olympian with five medals in total.

If you can’t get enough of the equestrian events, the jumping individual finals are being held tomorrow and the jumping team final on August 7.

Maybe for the 2024 Olympics, they should consider Doggo Dressage? We think it would go down a real treat!
