Mums ditch New Year diets as they show off festive food hauls they picked up in the sales including cheese for just 5p

ONE too many slices of turkey will have left most of us ready to stock up on soup and salads.

However, these mums haven’t quite satisfied their festive food fix, and have ditched the New Year diets after grabbing huge Christmas food hauls in the sales – and there’s enough to last them through January.

Taking to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK, one mum shared the bumper shop she picked up in M&S.

For just £20 she bagged herself three packs of sausage rolls, trifle, pizzas, sweet treats and dozens of ready meals to name a few.

Meanwhile another mum managed to blag herself a couple of tubs of Quality Street for just £4 while another snapped up Lindt goodies for a couple of quid.

Elsewhere, another savvy shopper picked up enough cheese to see them through to 2022 in Asda, with no less than 14 packs of Boursin.

Captioning her snap, she wrote: “Omg cheese glorious cheese 😍Boursin my absolute fav 10p each Castello 10p each rudolph and snowmen 5p omg cheese 🧀

“All from Asda Chelmsley Wood they had plenty left.”

Another pudding fan got her hands on a delicious chocolatey Yule Log from Waitrose for better than half price.
