NEEDLES' Faux Fur Pea Coat Is Here To Save Your FW20 Wardrobe

Following its recently-teased collaboration with Verdy and its popular range of mohair cardigans comes NEEDLES‘ latest Fall/Winter 2020 drop, comprising coats, more cardigans, and a pair of pants.

The Keizo Shimizu-helmed Japanese label presents a faux fur pea coat as its main show-stealer this season, which is made from a soft gray and brown-toned gradient-effect fabric that’s fluffy and classic. As with many of NEEDLES’ pieces, this coat looks to America for inspiration — this time around tapping into the glamor of vintage Hollywood. It is a statement piece by all means, and is finished with a 100-percent Cupra lining, internal pockets, and a double-breasted array of buttons.

Elsewhere, NEEDLES offers the “Switched Quilt” chore coat. This piece is crafted from a mix of floral patchwork fabrics, once more combining elements from Japanese and American cultures. The result is a chore coat that delivers an overall utility-styled look that’s reworked with floral elements inside-and-out.

Joining the brand’s outerwear offerings is another cardigan, this time around appearing in a mixture of acrylic, wool, and nylon. It features a v-neck design and an all-over leopard print on a burgundy base, and is complete with the NEEDLES’ signature purple embroidered branding on the chest.

Completing the NEEDLES outfit is a pair of zipper W.U. plaid pants, that while at first glance may look formal are in fact actually track pants. The wool-mix plaid material is accompanied by zip-cuffs, an elasticated waistband and an overall baggy fit, giving the track pants a ’90s feel.

NEEDLES’ latest FW20 drop ranges from $250 USD to $1,210 USD, and can be bought on the Goodhood website now.
