Princess Charlotte, 6, beams in the photo, taken by her mother the Duchess of Cambridge. The young royal is simply dressed in a floral print dress, £59, by Rachel Riley.

The dress description reads: “A Rachel Riley favourite! Puff-sleeved button-front dress with a vintage floral print in contrast colours on a navy base.

“Trimmed with pink ric-rac trims and buttons. Matching dress available for baby girl. Available in a selection of prints.”

Rachel Riley is a British brand, favoured by the Cambridges to dress their children.

Most famously Prince George wore red shorts and a white & red shirt by the brand as a toddler.

The brand was started in 1998 and has a whimsical, vintage feel.

Princess Charlotte isn’t wearing any accessories in the photo, and her long hair is worn loose around her shoulders.

Fans have gone mad for the picture, and taken to social media to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “It’s just lovely to see this pretty Princess growing up so happy, healthy with her loving family.

One more suggested Charlotte was “the spitting image of her dad” and inherited her mum’s green eyes.
