Queen Letizia and her husband King Felipe VI attended the inauguration of an exhibition in Madrid on Wednesday this week. The exhibition celebrated the work of famous Spanish director Luis García Berlanga.
For the occasion, Queen Letizia donned a stunning bright pink dress.
Letizia usually wears items of clothing her fans have seen before, suggesting she is environmentally aware and conscious about budgets.
However, this dress was new, and Letizia had never worn it before in public.
The garment was a vibrant pink and made of a sleek satin material.
It was designed by German fashion house Hugo Boss.
Called the ‘Dellisi’, the dress is currently sold out o Hugo Boss’ website, but other similar dresses are available from other shops, including Max Mara and Zara.
The dress featured a pleated tiered skirt that was cinched and tied at the waist.
The bodice was in a style of a shirt, which had buttons but no collar.

The garment had long sleeves and a slight v-neckline.
Letizia matched the dress with a pair of Caroline Herrera crocodile print slingback heels.
These heels were also a bright fuschia colour.
As for jewellery, Letizia kept the look simple, wearing only small diamond earrings.
Interestingly, Letizia’s new dress was very similar to a pink gown Kate Middleton wore last month.
The Duchess of Cambridge donned a pink pleated dress to meet Mila, a little girl who had been suffering with leukemia.
Like Letizia’s dress, Kate’s garment had a shirt bodice with long sleeves and buttons, as well as a pleated skirt.
However, Kate’s dress had a prominent collar and instead of being tied at the waist, the dress was cinched with a matching pink belt.
Kate paired her pink ensemble with pale pink suede heels, and she wore a floral pink and green mask.
Letizia, on the other hand, wore her usual white mask.
Kate and Letizia’s wardrobes have been compared and contrasted before.
Both women have reworn items of clothing, sometimes even decades later.
They also enjoy wearing high street brands, most notably Zara.
Kate Middleton has multiple Zara blazers, while Queen Letizia owns a bright orange asymmetrical Zara suit.
