This couple proposed to each other at the same time at Disneyland and the moment was truly magical

THIS couple were left gobsmacked when they proposed to each other at the same time.

Jesse Tober, 20, and boyfriend Kasey Donovan, 24, had both planned to pop the question at their favourite place in the world – Disneyland – on Monday.

The romantic American pair even both bought rings.

Not bothered by breaking tradition, Walgreens pharmacy manager Jesse, from New York state, decided to propose to her man – and popped the question outside Cinderella's castle.

But when she pulled the ring box out of her pocket, her bemused boyfriend Kasey, a freelance writer, from Salinas, California, said: "Are you kidding me?"

He then reached into his backpack to pull out his own ring, and got down on one knee.

The couple hugged, cried and, unsurprisingly, both said "yes".

The magical moment was filmed and posted on Jesse's Twitter feed, where it's racked up more than 518,000 likes.

"We’re just so in sync as a couple, I'm not surprised this happened," Jesse told Cosmopolitan.

"I don’t know how to explain it, it almost seems normal that we both did this."

Jesse had been planning her proposal for three months, while Kasey had been planning his for a month.

The ring he picked out last week is, perhaps unsurprisingly, an Ariel-inspired one from the Enchanted Disney Jewellery Collection.

The couple met in March 2016, after Kasey followed Jesse on Twitter and they started chatting.

He was intrigued by her bio, which had Blink 182 lyrics in it, and the couple finally met in person in August of the same year – when Kasey travelled to Jesse's hometown and they flew to Niagra Falls.

Their next meeting was at Disneyland, which Jesse immediately decided was the "most magical place on Earth".

The couple bonded over a love of Disney, and even dressed as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled for Halloween.

Jesse added of the proposal: "We had no idea either of us were going to do it. It was the happiest moment, at the happiest place on Earth."

They now plan to tie the knot at Disney but, with a private Cinderella castle ceremony costing a huge £140,000, they'd better get saving.

"If we have enough money, we'd love to have our wedding there," Jesse said. "That would be so special."
