“90 Day Fiancé” star Big Ed wants people to get the COVID-19 vaccine after he came down with a “nasty cough.”
The 56-year-old posted a video on Instagram Sunday from inside his local urgent care center and said the cough, which he caught in Mexico, has “kinda knocked” him off his feet.
Ed said he would get “some steroids” and continue with his course of antibiotics but urged people to get vaccinated and make their health a priority.
“If you haven’t been vaccinated, I strongly suggest you do that and take care of yourself,” Ed said, noting he got his second dose in April. “Take care of your family and friends and try to be nice to people.
“I think that’s important. It always comes back in tenfold.”
The TLC star eventually shared too much information about the steroid treatment he would be receiving.
“Hopefully it’s not up my butt, but I think it’s in my mouth,” he said, “and they’re going to hopefully send me on my way.”
Ed hasn’t provided any updates since his initial video, but he wrote in the caption, “Take care of your body you only get one..! #biged #biged90dayfiance.”
While many fans speculated that Ed could have contracted COVID-19 or the Delta variant, others took to the comments to wish him well.
“Get well soon Ed!!! Praying for you!! Speedy recovery!!” wrote one follower.
“Feel better Ed! 💐,” wrote another.
“You’re amazing big Ed!! Please feel better 🙏🏼,” commented a third fan.
