There’s definitely a hint of Christmas in the air, with celebrities including Michelle Keegan and Lydia Bright getting ahead of the game with decorating.

And another famous face getting festive in lockdown is Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien who created a sensational wreath over the weekend.

The 37 year old mum-of-two, who plays Sarah Platt in the soap, took to Instagram to show her 450,000 followers her DIY skills, using a coat hanger as the magic ingredient.

Tina bent the coat hanger into the shape of a circle and then she showed off the foraged ivy, spruce and holly she planned on adding to create the wreath.

And because wreath making is thirsty work, Tina’s husband Adam Crofts skilfully rustled up a French martini, leading Tina to coin him “the cocktail expert.”

The finished wreath result was simply stunning, with cones, holly and dried clementines bringing it to life.

Tina explained that she also planned on adding some red ribbon, but she better act fast because in another snap the star shared a picture of her adorable dog Cookie having already stolen a cone from the decoration.

The star, who recently fired back at body-shamers, will likely put the wreath up somewhere in her stunning home, which she recently raved about.

Tina lives in a grand three-storey home in Manchester and it’s evident from images of the property that she’s a dab hand at interior design.

Inside Tina’s home you’ll find a lot of personal touches, including a large blue sofa with matching foot rest, and pretty plants in Aztec vases.

Recently, in preparation for colder climes, Tina made her house look uber-cosy with the sweet addition of candles.

Sharing a snap of a table with three The White Company candles on, the blonde beauty wrote: "I heart my home, cosy candle vibes," and it's safe to say we heart it too!

We also got a peek inside the star’s home around Christmas time last year, when she revealed that her dog had cheekily knocked down her Christmas tree.

Sharing a photo of a very bashful looking pooch sitting by the tree, which lay across the ground, we caught a glimpse of Tina’s large lounge area with grey sofas, a beautiful array of lanterns and a modern TV stand.

The actress also has a sign saying ‘welcome to madhouse’ in her home, which sits above a photo of her 12 year old daughter Scarlett.
