Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ‘intense’ speech is ‘different’ in latest podcast

Meghan and Harry sing together in Archewell Audio trailer

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have released the ‘2020 Archewell Audio Holiday Special’ podcast. An expert commented on how their speech appeared different in the clip from the trailer.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first announced their podcast by releasing a trailer earlier this month.

In the trailer, they spoke about their intentions to share the stories of themselves and others.

In the 33-minute podcast released today, Meghan and Prince Harry spoke with famous names who reflected on the past year.

Speaking exclusively with, Judi explained how the royals used different speaking techniques to ones they have used before.

She commented: “There has been some pronounced differences in style, delivery and tone in some of Harry and Meghan’s previous video speeches or audio links.

“But the launch of this new podcast unveils a deliberate-sounding attempt at matching, mirrored delivery to create a more seamless effect.

“Harry and Meghan want you to know that they now think as one and speak as one.

“Meghan’s words are all about joint-think to the point of bonded personalities.

“She refers to ‘We thought…’ and ‘People we admire…’ to emphasise this intense, like-minded thinking.

“Harry echoes the impression using terms like ‘The message of this song is one we hold so dearly’.”

While Meghan and Harry have used different speaking techniques in the past, Judi explained they were more unified in the latest podcast.

The speaking techniques used by the royals suggested it was important to them to show their togetherness.

“Unity is so clearly an important value for the couple and it is now reflecting in their style of speech,” Judi added.

“Harry is now almost as flawless in his verbal delivery as his wife and has even appeared to be working on a more professional-sounding delivery.”

Judi suggested Prince Harry seemed to be a “much less confident speaker” than Meghan in the trailer for the podcast.

However, his delivery of speech appears much different to before as he became more assertive.

Judi explained he may even have copied some techniques used by Meghan.

She continued: “He speaks at a perkier pace here to keep up with Meghan and he even mimics her deeper, slightly sensual warm purr when he adds ‘We’re glad you’re here’ to her introduction.

“It’s only the high bounce of the Prince’s ‘I’m Harry’ that creates any true differences in style now.

“After that slightly naive-sounding intro Harry is all about the meaningful messages that even include a section where the couple share the speaking, putting in two words at a time each to create a sentence.”
