Morrisons update customers on running of stores in pandemic

Morrisons shoppers will not be able to enter stores without a face covering, the retailer has announced. Those visiting the branches from today will be subject to the new rules.

Face coverings are madatory when visiting supermarket branches in the UK.

All customers must wear masks unless they have a medical exemption.

A statement confirmed shoppers will no longer be given access to Morrisons stores without a covering.

Morrisons chief executive David Potts said: “Those who are offered a face covering and decline to wear one won’t be allowed to shop at Morrisons unless they are medically exempt.

“Our store colleagues are working hard to feed you and your family, please be kind.”
