The popular high street store has brought back it’s highly sought after engagement rings which are, yes you guessed it, just £1!
The jewellery started to become common knowledge after it sparked a debate on social media back in 2019 after the rings launched.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, the rings were pushed out by the store with some deeming them a great idea while others really weren’t keen.
And now they’re back, in a range of different shapes and sizes too.
The Poundland Bling Ring range, as it’s called, advertises the rings as placeholders which you give to your future fiancé or fiancée until you find the real deal.
If you’re looking to bag one, you can find them in a range of colours and sizes, with some boasting silver bands, others gold.

You can get a heart stone or a blue stone or there’s even one with a gold band with a small diamond-looking gem in it.
The rings were spotted by a savvy shopper over the weekend, and they shared the news on Facebook page Money Saver Online.
The person penned: “Engagement Rings now back at Poundland!” followed by a love heart emoji.

In 2019, a whopping 20,000 rings were sold in one week alone according to Poundland, but what are people’s thoughts on them this year?
Taking to the comments section on the Facebook post, which garnered over 5,000 likes, one shopper wrote: “Seriously…if I loved him and he loved me..then I'd wear it with pride. True love isn't defined by how much a ring is worth.”
Another added: “Personally I wouldn't care, it's the thought that counts! Yes it may turn your finger green but love doesnt come in material things!”

And a third, agreeing, added: “If it’s given with love does it matter xx”
Others weren’t so keen on the idea, with one unimpressed shopper writing: “Im pretty sure any women would be happier with a beef hula hoop.”
Another said: “Wouldn’t spend a pound on one” while a third simply wrote: “The answer would be no.”
