A man has been slammed for a 'lack of respect' after a photo was shared on social media showing him playing on a computer in a restaurant.
An irate waitress at the restaurant complained that the "asshat' customer had stayed there for eight hours.
He took advantage of an 'unlimited soup and salad' deal which also includes free refills of drinks, while playing games on his computer.
The woman blasted the unknown man for tipping just $2.86, which amounts to £2.24, for his meal.
The photo was captioned: "This guy seriously set up shop over eight hours ago.
"Three servers have changed hands since then, he hasnt paid or tipped yet, we’ve been on a wait, but he just doesn’t GAF.
"The best part??? HE’S GAMING!How do you get an asshat like this to leave? Seriously.
"Edited to add: he left after 8 1/2 hours and tipped one server $2.86 after free refills and all the soup, salad, and bread he wanted."
The photo gained more than 1,800 shares and 1,500 comments from others who were disgusted by the man's behaviour.
One replied: "I would have told him my damn self " sir, you can't be serious?
"This is not gonna happen. You cannot set up your pc here, this is not your house."
A second said: "Special place in hell for people like this."
A third wrote about a similar experience, saying: "We have be a guy like that, he comes in everyday and stays from open to close.
"Hell sometimes he doesn't leave and we have to turn off the wifi to get him to leave."
Another added: "He'd have to tip really well up front, to make this close to fair. He's taking advantage of the servers' time."
One slammed the restaurant manager for allowing it, ranting: "Why would your manager OR OWNER even allow this to take place?
"What if he sat there tapping into yalls wifi or retrieving credit card info?
"I know that sounds crazy and Im not techy, but i wouldve tripped over his cord on purpose to unplug that shiznazz."
Many said the restaurant staff should have challenged the man earlier.
One fellow waitress wrote: "Maybe tell him he can’t set it up when he’s walking in and not just let him plug everything up and hope he leaves soon?
"I mean surely it can’t be THAT hard to notice he’s lugging around an entire pc setup."
Another agreed, adding: "Ya that’s a no. WiFi just broke, that outlet is under construction and I’m sorry this booth is now in a “no gaming” section.
"There no way in Hell while he was setting that up I’d have let that continue.
"The moment he sat that PC down I’d have been there. Like ya that not what we do here. Starbucks is across the street."
But other people pointed out that the man could be homeless or have no internet access.
One person wrote: "Also he's not really hurting anyone and may just be on hard times.
"Yeah he has a decent rig , but he wouldn't be doing this if he didn't have to , no matter what he's doing on his PC. It's important enough that he comes in spend a bit of cash and just do him.
"He may not have a lot of cash right now but in his mind maybe that's enough to use your facility.
"Yes it frustrates us to the bone but even I can see this is all he has right now.
"He's not out making trouble and really isn't hurting anyone. He'll go once things get better.
"Least we can hope. I was homeless once in my life, I use to go to McDonald's to use the wifi.
"I'd buy what I could with what I had at the time and try to make it last as long as I could."
