MAURICIO POCHETTINO has claimed moving the Premier League transfer window deadline was a “mistake”.
The market slammed shut for English clubs on August 8, but European clubs are able to do business until September 2.
Poch said: “I wasn't in agreement [with the decision] but at that moment they believed that was best for the clubs.
“But I think he [Daniel Levy] and a lot of people now realise it was a massive mistake. I hope they fix the problem the next season.”
HUGO LLORIS has told his Tottenham team-mates to start DRAWING matches if they want to challenge for the title.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, he said: “One thing that we try to improve this season: if you cannot win, it's important to not lose the game, especially against an opponent like Manchester City.
“If you want to stay in contact with the best team in the Premier League, it's important to get this feeling.”
VICTOR WANYAMA is a target for Bruges, according to reports.
A move for the midfielder from West Ham broke down late in the transfer window and the former Southampton star is hoping to get regular football elsewhere this season.
According to the Express, the Belgian club are hoping to stump up his £65,000-a-week wages with the money earned from the transfers of Marvelous Nakamba and Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld.
Wanyama arrived at the Lane in 2016 and has made 97 appearances for Spurs.

Eriksen has spent the last 12 months in contract talks with Spurs but appears no closer to signing a new deal.
ESPN now claim that he will only accept an offer from Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus and is still keen to make the move before the European transfer window slams shut on September 2.
The Denmark international rejected the advances of Manchester United earlier this summer and believes he could still manufacture a move to one of Europe's elite in the next two weeks.
RENNES wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga is reportedly being scouted by Manchester United, City and Tottenham following his stunning performance against PSG.
The 16-year-old inspired his side to a shock 2-1 win over the French champions last Sunday.
According to the Daily Mail Premier League trio United, City and Spurs were all there to watch Camavinga’s display.
