ARSENAL have announced a 29-man travelling squad for their pre-season tour of the United States.
Unai Emery has named a number of the club's most exciting young prospects, but club captain Laurent Koscielny has refused to join them.
The Gunners boarded the plane on Thursday ahead of their opening match against Colorado Rapids on July 15.
New boy Gabriel Martinelli has been included following his £6million transfer from Brazilian club Ituano.
Emile Smith Rowe, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock were also named after recently being promoted to the first-team.
Tyreece John-Jules has made the trip after he scored twice in last weekend's 3-3 draw with Boreham Wood.
Hector Bellerin is set to miss the start of the season as he continues his recovery from knee surgery, but will travel to the US.
And Mesut Ozil will need to prove himself to the boss after Fenerbahce ended their interest in him.
Arsenal shared a video of close pals Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the plane together before takeoff.
The caption read: "Partnered up together – even on the plane."
Emery's squad, dressed in their club tracksuits, posed for a team photo with the air hostesses before takeoff.
Bernd Leno will remain as Arsenal's No1 goalkeeper, but Emiliano Martinez and Matthew Macey have made the trip.
Koscielny was the most notable absentee after he refused to join the rest of his team-mates on the tour.
SunSport exclusively revealed that Arsenal will now fine the 33-year-old and force him to train with the kids.
And the defender has reportedly told Arsenal he wants to be released from his contract for free so he can move back to France.
Without their skipper, Arsenal will face Colorado Rapids, Bayern Munich and Forientina before taking on Real Madrid in Washington DC.
The Gunners will then face Lyon, Angers and Barcelona before their 2019/20 Premier League campaign kicks off against Newcastle on August 11.
