Horse racing tips: Templegate backs one to win at Exeter under penalty on Tuesday following demolition last time out

TEMPLEGATE can build the bank ahead of Cheltenham Festival with some winners this week.

Read on to find out who our in-form tipster thinks can land the spoils on Tuesday.

FIVE STAR GETAWAY (1.00 Exeter, nap)

He took a big step forward on his second run over fences when winning by six lengths at Wincanton last week.

He comes back under a penalty and looks hard to beat over a similar trip.

MOLLY CAREW (4.20 Newcastle, nb)

She will find this a lot easier than the Exeter Listed contest she unseated in last time.

She earlier scooted in at Taunton and dropping back to this distance looks a wise move too.

POWERSTOWN PARK (3.40 Exeter, treble)

He was performing well in stronger races than this before missing last season.

He came back with a good third in a bumper three weeks ago and should be fit enough to strike.

12.30 Henry Gondoff

Won well last time and this longer trip should suit.

Plenty in hand when winning last time and big chance under penalty.

1.35 Killer Kane

Expensive buy who needed his debut fourth here last time.

2.05 Paxman

Been off a long time but has good form and yard in form.

2.40 Aye Aye Charlie

Looks to be working up to a win after two good efforts lately.

3.10 Shattered Glass

Up fair 3lb for close second at Market Rasen last time.

3.40 Powerstown Park (treble)

Good run in a bumper and can translate that to hurdles.

1.45 Ripper Roo

Has been knocking on the door over hurdles.

2.15 Flamboyant Joyaux

Didn’t go over hurdles last time but much better in chases.

2.50 Broadway Joe

Won well last time and 6lb rise in the weights looks fair.

3.20 Dingo Dollar

Big chance on old form and has moved to in-form trainer.

3.50 The Navigator

Was in good form earlier this season and back from a break here.

4.20 Molly Carew (nb)

Dropping in class and well suited by this distance.

4.50 Latterhead

Showed lots of promise when fourth in a jumper’s bumper.

4.40 Passional

Consistent and another good second here last time out.

5.10 Did She Though

Well bred and from a yard that does well with newcomers.

5.40 Harlow

Fair run at Lingfield last time and dropping in grade here.

6.10 Fortultous

Has shown best form over this course and distance.

6.40 Star Of St James

Has been in cracking form over this course and distance.

7.10 Custard The Dragon

Has landed seven wins over this course and distance.

7.40 Owhatanight

Did well to win here last time after missing the break.
