Jesse Lingard transfer news: West Ham are ODDS-ON favourites to sign Manchester United star

WEST HAM are leading the race to sign Jesse Lingard on a permanent basis, according to the bookies.

The Irons are odds-on favourites to land land the attacking midfielder at 4/6 with Sky Bet.

West Ham are clear front runners in the bookies' market with Leicester, Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal all clear outsiders.

Lingard is back in pre-season training after a successful loan spell with West Ham last year.

The 28-year-old has just a year left on his contract at Old Trafford and he is expected to sit down with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to discuss his future.

During his loan spell at West Ham, Lingard scored nine goals for David Moyes' side last season.

Lingard's form was rewarded with a call up to the England from Gareth Southgate before he missed out on the final Euro 2020 squad.
