Kempton tips: Racecard, analysis and preview for the feature Racing TV Chase on Friday

THE pick of Friday's action comes from Kempton Park.

Our 'Race of the Day' is the Racing TV Chase at 2.25, and it looks a cracker on paper.

The weights are headed by Not That Fuisse, and he will find this a good deal easier than the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup.

He finished a creditable sixth in that race, albeit beaten 24 lengths, and he also has some solid form behind the likes of Eric Le Rouge and Al Dancer this winter.

He enters calculations, as does Emma Lavelle's Celtic Joy who was a gutsy winner over C&D in October.

The seven-year-old has been off the track since finishing a distant second to Sammy Bill here in November, but he remains on a fair mark and will relish the likely decent ground conditions.

Another horse who won't mind a sound surface is Chris Gordon's ON THE SLOPES.

He has yet to win in five attempts over fences, but on recent evidence a victory is surely just around the corner.

He caught the eye when third in a strong handicap chase over the extended 2m4f here on Boxing Day.

The six-year-old loomed up going strongly under Adam Wedge but didn't appear to get home on rain-softened ground.

He again left the impression that 2m4f stretches him when failing to get up the hill in a red-hot race at Cheltenham last month.

But his performance also suggested he was well-treated, given the way he swept into the lead and had the likes of Simply The Betts and Imperial Aura flat to the boards.

This 2m2f trip looks absolutely perfect and he is surely capable of exploiting a mark of 129 now down in grade.
