REAL MADRID and Barcelona have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, according to reports.
The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer but ended up penning a new deal at the San Siro.
But reports in Italy claim that it won't deter some of Europe's biggest clubs from making a move when the window opens in January.
Skriniar has been instrumental in Antonio Conte's side this season having played in every minute in both Serie A and the Champions League.
His form has attracted the interest of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barca who are both in the market for a new central defender.
The Slovak international fits the bill but with a contract until 2023, he won't come cheaply.
Inter already quashed speculation that they would let him leave for £50m when United came calling in the summer.
Even a potential swap deal with striker Romelu Lukaku failed to tempt them to let him leave.
