Sportsbooks began releasing the first odds for Super Bowl 2021 with the Kansas City Chiefs set to meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa on Feb. 7.
DraftKings online sportsbook and Stations Casino in Las Vegas were among the early posters, both making the Chiefs 3.5-point favorites with an Over/Under of 57.5.
The defending-champion Chiefs will be playing in their fourth Super Bowl. They are 2-1 both straight up and against the spread in their previous trips.
The Buccaneers, the first team to play in their home stadium in Super Bowl history, won and covered in their lone appearance.
Tom Brady will be playing in his 10th Super Bowl. He went 6-3 straight up and 4-5 against the spread as a member of the New England Patriots.
The Buccaneers and Chiefs both covered the spread in their championship victories. Tampa Bay won, 31-26, as 3-point underdogs, and Kansas City rolled, 38-24, as 3-point favorites.
