'90 Day Fiancé': Angela Deem Gets Her Health Results via Video Chat — Can She Still 'Tote a Baby' for Michael Ilesanmi?

On 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Angela Deem is finally in Nigeria to marry Michael Ilesanmi, and the trip has already been quite eventful. Before taking a journey across the world, Angela had to deal with a health scare that could change her life forever. The results are finally in, and Angela learns whether or not she’ll be able to “tote a baby” for Michael.

Angela Deem has a procedure to rule out cancer

Michael is 31 years old and eager to have a child. His family also has high expectations for Michael to procreate. However, Angela is 54, and when she goes to a doctor back in the states, she learns that she has no eggs left. The doctor also discovers that she might have cancerous cells in her uterine lining.

Angela undergoes a painful procedure to determine the truth of the matter, and it’s hard to even watch to be honest. The procedure wasn’t a pleasant experience, but the doctor eventually brings out the laughing gas, or nitrous oxide, which makes Angela laugh hysterically and get through the procedure. Now that it’s over, Angela is struggling with how to come clean to Michael about the whole ordeal.

Angela reveals the situation to Michael

The couple sits down in a nature preserve in Nigeria, and Angela starts to explain the situation to her fiancé. “So, I wanted to go to a gynecologist to see about toting a baby,” Angela explains to Michael. “I’m real serious about toting a baby for you, and I just want to make sure I’m able.”

Angela also mentions that she was bleeding and was concerned about it because that shouldn’t be happening. She says that the egg the doctor in Nigeria found is no longer there, but that she can still “tote a baby” with a donor egg.

Michael asks if having a baby is no longer an option, and Angela says she still can, but her health is more important. Angela continues saying the doctor took a biopsy to make sure she doesn’t have any cancerous cells. Michael is obviously worried about his soon-to-be-wife, and he asks what happens if it’s cancer.

Angela says they could take her uterus out, then she definitely won’t be able to “tote a baby” for Michael. “I’m just worried, not only about the cancer, but about how you feel because you’re so adamant, you and your mom, about a baby. What worries me is if I can’t have a baby, you will go find someone that can,” Angela tells Michael.

“This is a big question for me,” Michael cryptically replies. “This is what I want, and we’ve been talking about it, about having a baby, for years. I have to think about it.” Angela isn’t pleased with that response at all. She insists maybe they shouldn’t get married then.

Angela gets her health results via video chat

The time finally comes for Angela to learn the news and chat with her doctor over video chat. The doctor goes over her bloodwork, which comes back really well. Then the doctor gets to the biopsy results, and it turns out they came back as “perfect.” Angela has abnormal bleeding, but there are no signs of anything bad happening, such as a polyp or cancer.

Everything seems lighter around Angela, who is so happy about the results. But the doctor also says there are “challenges” to having a child without any eggs of her own. Plus, Angela is older, which will increase her risk of complications.

Angela was able to get really good results, but what will it all mean for their relationship? Angela is concerned about the risks involved with having a child being older. “If I can’t have a baby, you won’t marry me, right?” Angela asks. Michael can’t answer her, and it’s a sad end to good news for Angela.

It’s unclear if this will all change the relationship between Angela and Michael.
