Mitch Baker (played by Roger Griffiths), Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) and Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) were on a mission to get Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) back on the dating scene in recent EastEnders scenes. However, as the group sign up to Peter Beale’s (Dayle Hudson) fitness boot camp, will Mitch realise he’s suffering from a worrying health condition?

In Thursday’s instalment, Mick decided to take his friends’ advice and put Linda behind him.

Mitch, Harvey and Rocky suggested the group head to the gym before hitting Ruby’s.

Mick noted: “I don’t see how getting all Mr Universe is going to help.”

Rocky quipped: “You’ve got to remember what [Mitch] said yesterday you’ve got to be lean…”

“Lean, mean and back on the scene,” Mitch interjected.

“I don’t mind doing the Mr Motivator thing I’m just not ready to meet women,” Mick remarked.

Rocky reasoned: “You’ve got to throw yourself in at the deep end and hope you remember how to swim.”

“We can be your armbands,” Harvey shared.

Mitch agreed: “We’ve all had our hearts broken we’re jumping off the same boat here.”

The group visited Sharon Watts’ (Letitia Dean) gym and were given workout schedules by Peter.

He introduced: “Right as you’ll see you’ve each got personalised training schedules so if you’re not seeing results in eight to 10 weeks well lads you’re just not working hard enough.”

“With him being on steroids,” Mitch quipped.

“There’s no steroids here there’s no replacement for hard work,” Peter hit back.

Mitch demanded: “Look I’m done with all this stretching where’s the bench press.”

“I don’t want anyone breaking a hip on my watch,” Peter joked.

Although Peter’s comment was said in jest but if Mitch decides to take his fitness seriously, will he uncover a health condition he was unaware of?

Mitch’s health will now be under a microscope as Peter takes him under his wing.
