Callum and Fitzy had been attempting to arrest the thief, but the officer was caught off-guard when he pulled out a knife and plunged it into his body.

Next week, Ash tells Callum that Fitzy is stable but that he’s sworn to secrecy.

Whitney overhears and Callum promises to explain everything to Ben after he’s spoken to Fitzy.

Later in the week, Ben spots Callum getting into a cab with Whitney to visit Fitzy.

Oblivious to what’s happened to Fitzy, Ben wonders what on earth is going on between the exes.

Later, Callum tells Whitney he’s being haunted by the stabbing, and she realises it’s his PTSD.

Will Whitney persuade Callum to open up to Ben?

EastEnders viewers know that Callum first showed signs of PTSD back in 2018 when he returned from the army.

Callum’s struggles were also revisited in 2019 when his close friend passed away.
