Gogglebox favourite Tom Malone Jr has spilled some backstage secrets ahead of the launch of the new series next week.
The profesional dancer, 26, recently took part in a question and answer session with fans on Tik Tok.
He was inundated with questions about what exactly goes on behind-the-scenes of the popular Channel 4 show.
Tom went on to share that there have been some big changes in the way the show is filmed since the coronavirus pandemic.
The TV star explained: "When we are filming Gogglebox, the crew did used to be in our house.
"We used to have a sound man, a producer, a researcher, a cameraman and occasionally a runner who would all sit in our kitchen and control the cameras from there.
"But, due to recent times and Covid they are not allowed to come in our house anymore."
Tom revealed that crew members have been forced to control the cameras without being inside his house.
"So they would set up the cameras in the corner of our living room on the first day of filming," he added.
"And then for the whole rest of the shoot they would just leave them there and they would come back every week and plug them in through the windows and control them from a van outside."
Tom appears on the fly-on-the-wall series alongside his dad Tom and mum Julie.
He previously told fans that producers give them perks each time they record an episode.
During an Q&A session on his official Instagram account, Tom was asked "Do you actually get a free takeaway every-time u film an episode?"
He replied: "Yes. Without a doubt, one of the best perks of Gogglebox is the fact that every time we film, which is twice a week, the crew get us a takeaway of our choosing.
"It's literally one of the most amazing things about the show, honest to God, it's the best."
He added: "The hardest thing is choosing what we're actually going to have to eat because my dad is super picky with food.
"Anything too far away from a pie or chips or sausage and mash isn't really his thing.
"So that's the hardest thing about it but honestly [it's] one of the best things about Gogglebox."
Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 on Friday, February 26 at 9pm
