Hollyoaks revisits Warren Fox's first ever episode in flashback Favourite

Hollyoaks is taking viewers back in time once more next week, as it returns to 2006 to revisit icon Warren Fox’s (Jamie Lomas) first ever episode.

Over the past few months, viewers have been enjoying some of the Channel 4 soap’s finest outings from years gone by.

Two special series — Hollyoaks Favourites and [email protected] — kept us entertained with classic episodes during the Covid-19 pandemic last year, which saw production halt on current instalments.

With newer episodes being rationed out at three a week — before being further cut to two — the soap eventually went off our screens.

Classic episodes were transmitted in its absence, until new outings returned on September 7 — with the soap back on our screens four times a week from Monday to Thursday.

As one can never have too much Hollyoaks, the Friday slot has been occupied with classic episodes once more, and next week’s takes us back to 2006.

Newcomer Warren has history with Louise Summers (Roxanne McKee) and unfinished business with her husband, Sean. Meanwhile, Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) tries to protect her secrets when little Tom (Ellis Hollins) overhears her talking with Sean.

Elsewhere, Tony (Nick Pickard) is devastated after Mandy’s (Sarah Jayne Dunn) departure and Rhys is starting to feel embarrassed by his younger girlfriend, Sarah Barnes.

This episode — the soap’s 1,806th — was initially broadcast on June 26, 2006.

One to watch: Friday January 8 at 7pm on E4.
