Im A Celeb tipped to sign up Love Islands Liberty Poole after split from Jake

Love Island's Liberty Poole is tipped to appear in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! this year – and fans are keeping everything crossed that the blonde bombshell will enter the Welsh castle.

I'm A Celeb still remains in the UK due to Covid-19 restrictions in Australia, and fans are hoping that Liberty is up for wapping the sunny climate of the Love Island villa for the rainy Welsh weather in Wales.

Liberty was a 2/1 shot last week, but now the bookies make it just 6/4 for the Love Island star to feature in the next I’m A Celeb line-up.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Liberty’s time in the Love Island villa was cut short this summer, but the odds suggest she’ll soon be calling Gwrych Castle home.”

Liberty was a fan-favourite when she entered the Love Island villa earlier in the summer, and when her journey was cut short – fans were devastated.

The 21-year-old former waitress was in a relationship with Love Island's Jake Cornish while in the villa, after he asked her to be his girlfriend in a sweet gesture that involved a bracelet.

But the bracelet wore thin after a matter of weeks and Liberty realised that she loved Jake more than he loved her, so had to end the relationship in a bid to put self-love first.

Although she didn't find true love, she didn't leave the Majorcan villa empty-handed though, she found a new best friend in Kaz Kamwi, as well as thousands of fans back in the UK.

It won't be long until ITV bosses start intricate preparations at Gwrych Castle in Wales for the new series of I'm A Celeb.

The historic Welsh location of Gwrych Castle will be providing the backdrop for this year's antics, and it's likely that, given the dates of previous years, we will see it return in November.

This gives bosses two months to get the castle prepped and ready for the celebrities – which may or may not include Love Island alum Liberty Poole.

The castle has now officially closed to the public to undergo a revamp for the new series, with the team confirming it will reopen again in 2022.

A date is yet to be announced, but as soon as we know anything, we'll be sure to let you know. So keep checking back for the latest updates.
