During last night's episode the DIY SOS star opened up about his thoughts on Apollo 11 mission and slammed the historical moment Neil Armstrong landed on the moon as a hoax.
Joel joked he agreed with Nick and they had discussed the conspiracy theory during a filming break.
Speaking on the spin-off show, which Joel co-hosts with 2016 champion Scarlett Moffatt, the comedian said: "Now I’m not normally into conspiracy theories, but guys I’ve had a think about it.
“Now, I’m totally convinced that the moon landing was fake. I’m convinced!
"Apparently it was staged for the cameras OK."
Joel added: "I was talking to Nick about it over a bacon sandwich at the catering van during a break in filming yesterday.”
The former Gogglebox star played along with the joke.
She replied: "Joel, no one is supposed to know about that.”
Speaking earlier on the show, Nick, 56, said: "No one's landed on the moon. When [the US] discovered they couldn't get to the moon they faked it."

But fellow campmates were not impressed by the comment.
The Chase's Governess, Anne Hegerty, explained how the Russians tracked the US mission.
Inbetweeners actress, Emily Atack, also called 'bulls***' on the subject.
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, she said: "Nick has one of those voices where you believe everything he says.
"But I don't believe we didn't go to the moon.
"I think it's bulls***. I think we have landed on the moon."
