Jordan North has certainly faced his fears on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after he abseiled down a cliff and entered the Viper Vault in Monday night’s episode. As he faces his next Bushtucker Trial, an eating challenge, on Tuesday’s show, his college Nick Grimshaw has revealed just how bad his fears are.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Nick told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: “If you’re not very good at anything, you become a DJ, that was my route as well.
“But Jordan is genuinely scared of everything.
“Last night, when I found out he was going to be locked in a vault with snakes, I was like, ‘He won’t do this.’
He went on to reveal: “He even is scared at the lifts at Radio 1. He won’t get into the lift.
“He will walk up eight floors, the lifts are scary. Why he’s gone on I’m A Celebrity, I don’t know.”
But Nick is proud of Jordan for facing his fears: “I love that he did it.
“He faced two of his biggest fears, abseiling and then snakes.
“Hopefully he will have gone through the worst.”
However, the Radio 1 DJ admitted he has been voting for Jordan to complete all of the Bushtucker Trials.
On Monday night, viewers saw Jordan locked inside a vault which was built into Gwrych Castle floor, which contained five locked safes.
Alongside fellow campmate Shane Richie, who was in another vault, they had to retrieve five stars for meals with snakes surrounding them.
Jordan was given a few minutes to compose himself before facing his fears and he insisted he would think of his “happy place”.

The pair manages to retrieve nine stars in total for camp and Jordan revealed how he plans on getting through the series and future Bushtucker Trials.
He told Ant and Dec: “My brother, who is a paratrooper said to me no matter how scared or cold you get to think of your happy place.”
Dec asked: “Where was that? You never mentioned it!”
But Jordan simply said of the task: “Honestly, that was the most scariest thing I’ve ever done in my life, I feel like crying.”
Shane added he also struggled with the Trial, noting: “I had a little panic attack at one point. I couldn’t move my body around – but I know my kids would be screaming at the television. I’m so glad we’ve come out.”
Jordan thrilled fans with his performance in the Trial and many took to Twitter to commend his efforts.
One posted: “I am now fully invested in #ImACeleb because Jordan North is precious, and if he doesn’t win I’ll riot.”
Another added: “Jordan is such a lovely guy but he’s still doing the trials! He could win King of the Castle.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! airs tonight at 9.15pm on ITV.
