The thrilling 12th season of the action-packed spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles continues next week as G. Callen (played by Chris O’Donnell) faces his toughest challenge yet. When the special agent is accused of secretly siding with the Russians, a brand new clip for the CBS series has confirmed he still doesn’t know the whereabouts of his girlfriend, Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly).
Special agent G. Callen is preparing for heartbreak in a first-look clip at the next episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’.
The 11th episode of the spin-off’s 12th instalment will bring the series back around to the start of the show’s 2020-21 season, which saw Callen and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) investigate a missing Russian bomber.
Los Angeles’ top operative comes under fire from DOJ Deputy Chief Effie Carlson (Nicki Micheaux), who accuses him of working as a double agent.
His relationship with Anna, daughter of ex-KGB Arkady Kolcheck (Vytautas Ruginis) could land him in hot water, though many fans are understandably more concerned with his precarious love life.
Earlier in the series, Arkady persuaded Callen not to propose to his daughter if he didn’t feel ready for marriage.
Things took a dark turn later when, after working up the courage to finally propose, Callen discovered the hotel room in which Anna was supposedly staying empty.
In this week’s coming episode, Callen may finally have to face up to the fact that he and Anna may not be destined to be together.
Effie Carlson asks him: “You don’t know where your girlfriend is?”
To which Callen begrudgingly responds: “Nope. I’m starting to think we’re broken up.”
Anna’s disappearance through fans into turmoil as the fan favourite could be revealed to have found herself in yet another spot of danger when the series continues.
Additionally, there’s a chance that Callen’s partner simply wanted out of the relationship and didn’t have the heart to tell him in person.
Whatever the case, the NCIS agent looks on the verge of heartbreak when the series continues this Sunday.

Furthermore, his emotional state will only be made worse when he’s put under scrutiny as a falsely accused double agent for the Russians.
Fans poured their hearts out for Callen in the comments, expressing their hopes that this week’s episode won’t be the end of his long-running romance.
One comment said: “I hope him and Anna stay together. I hope they get engaged as well!”
Anna Kolcheck star Bar Paly is confirmed to have a recurring role in the current season, so there’s a strong chance her sudden disappearance will be explained in the coming episodes.
However, with only eight of the confirmed 18 episodes of this season left, there are only a few weeks remaining for Callen to catch up to his elusive partner.
Episode 11 is set to be directed by principal star Daniela Ruah, whose character Kensi Blye has finally reunited with Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) after his job was put on the line.
With a major talent behind the camera and series showrunner R. Scott Gemmill writing the script, ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ is setting up to be an essential watch for NCIS enthusiasts.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 continues Sunday, February 21 on CBS.
