Phillip Schofield was forced to take over the Spin To Win competition segment on Thursday's This Morning after his co-host Holly Willoughby suffered an unfortunate coughing fit.
The presenter, 40, had to ask her co-star to read her lines as she tried to stifle a "tickle in her throat" after celebrating England's win against Denmark in the semi-final of the Euro 2020 football tournament on Wednesday night.
As the duo spoke to a caller during the competition segment, Holly started coughing as she turned away from the camera and took a sip of water.
To which Phillip asked: "Are you alright?" with Holly explaining: "I've got a tickle in my throat!
"Coughing is making it worse – it's singing Sweet Caroline at the top of my voice last night."
Holly continued to cough in the background while Phillip joked to the caller: "You've broken Holly in the meantime!"
To which Holly added: "I'm sorry! It's not gone… I really need to go have a cough and have a drink."
Phillip then joked: "Want me to do the whole lot?" with a coughing Holly replying: "Yep!"
And after Holly was still unable to present without coughing moments later, Phillip quipped: "I'll continue!" as he read out her lines from the autocue.
It wasn't just Holly celebrating England's dramatic victory against Denmark in the semi-final of the Euro 2020 football tournament on Wednesday night, with Adele also leading the celebrities.
England beat Denmark with a score of 2-1, thanks to a goal from Harry Kane in extra time scored just seconds after a missed penalty.
Whilst Prince William and Prime Minister Boris Johnson were celebrating from the stands at Wembley Stadium, a number of famous faces were instead marking the historic moment at home.
Singer Adele took to Instagram to film the moment Harry, 27, missed the penalty and then scored with the rebound, screaming as the ball hit the back of the net.
In the video, posted to her 39.2million followers, the 33-year-old singer is heard repeating: "Come on, come on, come on," as the Tottenham forward runs towards the ball.
Watching Denmark's Kasper Schmeichel catch the ball, Adele lets out a frustrated scream, followed by: "Oh no!" as the camera pans to the floor.
But just before Adele stops filming, the rebound goal is scored, eliciting screams from the Hello singer as she begins to jump and run around her house, loudly shouting: "Oh my God, oh my God!"
She excitedly captioned the video: "ITS B****Y COMING HOME" alongside a number of England flags.
