Proud dad Peter Andre films son Junior riding his moped on his first day of college

PETER Andre was overcome with emotion today as his son Junior, 16, drove himself to his first day of college on his moped.

The 48-year-old couldn’t resist sharing a clip of the big moment in his son’s life,  telling fans how proud he was.

Alongside the video, he wrote: “And just like that my boy is at college. Days like this scare me but also make me proud. He’s becoming a man. @officialjunior_andre.”

Junior – whose mum is Katie Price – showed he wasn’t too cool for his old man and replied to the sweet post, writing: “Love you dad.”

Earlier this year, Junior was over the moon when Pete got him the scooter for his 16th birthday present.

In a touching video of the moment he saw his bike for the first time, Junior exclaimed: "No way, you actually got me one. Look at his face, oh my gosh.

"Dad, thank you so much, I love you. I'm getting emotional guys. What the hell, how did you convince him? Wow."

Pete later stressed the scooter wasn't the sort of high-powered motorbike he wasn't allowed to ride when he was a teenager.

He insisted the scooter was speed-limited to 30mph and would only be driven on the local roads.

Junior recently passed all nine of his GCSE’s, including getting an A in music.

As well as studying, the teen will also be launching a music career after signing a big contract over the summer.
