Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins ends in a bloody mess on its return next week with Countryfile star Helen Skelton breaking soap tar Nikki Sanderson’s nose.
The pair are put head-to-head on the new series in a brutal boxing bout as they learn how to fight against each other.
However, one quick jab straight to the face proves to be a little too harsh, and left Nikki having a bit of a shocker.
‘I had to fight Nikki and that was tough because I really like her,’ Helen told The Sun.
‘She hit me a lot and I only hit her a couple of times, but when I did she was like, “Oh my God, I think you’ve broken my nose!”‘
‘I might have only hit her a couple of times but I connected,’ the TV presenter added. ‘It’s so weird having to fight someone you like, I didn’t want to hit her, then she hit me once and I was like, “OK!’
It seems the whole experience was far harder than Helen, and indeed the rest of the squad, anticipated.
‘When I was on Blue Peter I’d do crazy s**t all the time and not give it a second thought, now it’s different,’ the star explained.
Helen and Nikki are joining a group of celebs including Anthea Turner, Katie Price, John Fashanu, Joey Essex and Brendon Cole.
They will be forced to endure strict SAS training in order to succeed, and are participating in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
In the endurance training, the group have to jump from helicopters, deal with ice cold waters, heights, a strict Army regimen.
Ant Middleton returns as the training officer, and warned that he wasn’t going to go easy on them just because they were celebs.
He said: ‘If these celebrities turn up with an ego, they won’t last 24 hours. There are no short cuts, there are no easy options.
‘They think they know what’s coming but trust me, they are going to get the absolute shock of their lives.’
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins starts Monday 20 April at 9pm on Channel 4.
