Since Sean Tully’s (Antony Cotton) son Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) arrived in Coronation Street, the two of them have found it hard to reconnect.
Dylan enjoys football and video games, two things Sean knows nothing about, and Sean has also realised during the time he’s spent with Dylan that he doesn’t really know how to be a father to a teenage boy.
In an attempt to provide for his son, Sean has been busy with his new makeup business (just don’t tell him it’s clearly a pyramid scheme), but soon Dylan returns to see Sean, only to reveal he’s being bullied because his dad is gay.
Having taken a call from Violet, Sean learns that Dylan has been suspended from school and is on his way to Manchester.
Dylan arrives but refuses to discuss the reasons behind his suspension.
Later, Dylan finally opens up to Sean and explains that he’s being bullied at school because his Dad’s gay.
As Sean processes this news, what will he do next to stop Dylan from being bullied?
