Stacey Dooley shocks Strictly viewers with lewd Kevin Clifton act

Stacey Dooley shocked Strictly Come Dancing viewers when she groped her partner Kevin Clifton.

The investigative reporter, 31, couldn’t resist giving Kevin’s bum a cheeky grab as they embraced following their Charleston on Saturday’s live show.

The couple received a score of 39 out of 40 for their energetic routine to Five Foot Two, Eyes Of Blue by Spike Jones – their first of two dances during the semi-final.

After completing the dance, the pair hugged, with Stacey grabbing Kevin ‘s backside before they made their way over to Tess Daly and the judging panel for their verdict.

Many viewers at home caught sight of Stacey’s affectionate bottom tap and took to Twitter with divided opinions.

One wrote: "Did Stacey just grab Kevin’s bum? Lol. ANYWAY, it was great."

Another tweeted: "Did anyone else notice Stacey touch Kevin’s bum after their dance? strictly2018."

However, some viewers insisted it was a Stacey trait and they’d seen her grabbing other people’s bums before: "To anyone tweeting about Stacey squeezing Kev’s bum: quite apart from its peachy perfection – she’s a perennial posterior pat-ter. Claudia, Tess… they’ve all had a Dooley tap. #strictly2018 #teamstacey."

One fan are outraged and pointed out how there would be outrage if a male celebrity done it to his female partner: "Strictly’s Stacey Dooley spotted giving Kevin Clifton’s bum a cheeky squeeze – Not one to judge but if a man did this we would all moan yet she does it & it’s called cheeky? Double standards. It’s not OK without permission so let’s hope she had it.."

Looking on from the audience was her proud boyfriend Sam Lucknott, who was recently reported to have been "jealous’ of Stacey’s close relationship with her dance partner.

However, his continued presence at live shows suggest Sam is clearly rooting for Stacey in the run-up to the final next weekend.

Despite winning universal praise for her Charleston, Stacey and Kevin’s second dance of the Viennese Waltz came in for criticism by Craig Revel Horwood .

Craig said: "I thought a dance of two halves – the first half an American Smooth, and the second half pure Viennese Waltz.

"The challenge in a Viennese Waltz is you have to keep the rotation going and same steps and that’s why you felt a bit giddy. I felt like it was cheating a little bit. I would have liked to have seen more of the true Viennese."

Despite Craig’s comments, they ended up with a total score of 36.
